It was that time of the year when Chanel gives us all what we anticipate waiting for - its Crusie 2023/24 show. The famed fashion house orchestrated excellence. The show celebrated the Parisian brand's impact in America by having it as none other than Los Angeles and giving us a Hollywood haven of a theme.
The show embraced sports chic intertwining the 1980s with today and done so against a backdrop of several very LA places - from California's palm-fringed sandy beaches to black-and-white Hollywood studios.
This show has given legwarmers, mesh, shorts, oversized jumper dresses and even more - a new walk of life with its collection of fresh and fierce and very LA ‘It girl’ looks. Think pastel knit mini shorts and matching tops, jewelled bikini tops embroidered with comets and high-waisted shorts in terrycloth tweed or perhaps a sunset motif t-shirt and black Bermuda shorts paired with leg warmers, sneakers and oversized sunglasses. This collection makes you want to chage up your style, be French, move to LA, and of course wear Chanel.
The show adhered to its Hollywood nature with its star-studded attendees - Paris Hilton, Margot Robbie, and Cara Delevingne - to name a few, and not forgetting Snoop Dogg, who also performed later on for the guests.
