Zoghby in Deeb trouble

Lebanese diva Nawal Zoghby, who has officially divorced husband Elie Deeb (right), is trying her best to keep her affair private.

But Deeb seems to be media's new darling. He has given interviews to every magazine in town about his life, his problems with Zoghby and custody of their children.

Last week, the actress's office published a communiqué saying that until now the church did not pronounce their divorce and the children's custody is not yet decided.

During the past few months, Zoghby refused to talk about her marriage setbacks saying, "after all, Elie is the father of my children".

Before announcing their separation, Zoghby and Deeb lived separately for three years. They were married for 15 years and have three children - daughter Tia and twin boys Georgy and Joey.

Fares walks down the memory lane

Fares Karam, who is now one of the biggest stars in Lebanon, had a humble beginning. In a recent interview, the 32-year-old star talked about his days in Jezzine (South Lebanon) where he worked in a bakery. "My dad is a carpenter. I left school early and I did several jobs. When I was 16, I used to work in a bakery. "

But things are different now. Fares bought a few months ago a whole mountain in Jezzine. "When I was a young boy, I used to look at this mountain and say to myself that it would be great to sit at the top of it; now the mountain is mine", he said.

Talking about his shopping habits, he said that he once asked a shrink about his habit of buying five pair of jeans or five jackets at one time. "The skrink told me that it is normal behaviour. I am like that because I did not have money when I was younger", he added.
