    1kg (about 35) lemons

    250gm black salt or rock salt

    100gm carom seeds or ajwain

    100gm black pepper powder

Ingredient Substitution Guide


1. Wash and dry lemons.

2. Make 4 slits in each lime from bottom with a sharp knife like a multiplication (X) sign.

3. Mix black salt, ajwain and black pepper together and stuff each with it.

4. Put the lemons in a jar and cover the remaining salt mixture. Shake well. Seal well. It will be ready for use after 2-3 weeks.
