2.7kg whole jumbo shrimps (Gulf prawns), heads removed
3 cups butter
½ cup freshly ground pepper
¼ cup lemon juice
5 garlic cloves, minced
4 bay leaves
4 tsp rosemary (if fresh) or 1 ¼ tsp dried
1 tbsp sweet paprika
1 tbsp basil (if fresh) or 1 tsp dried
1 tbsp oregano (if fresh) or 1 tsp dried
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp nutmeg
1. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add all ingredients except shrimps and cook 20 minutes.
2. Add jumbo shrimps and cook until pink. Place on plates with vegetables of choice.
3. Cover shrimps with sauce and serve with French bread for dipping into sauce.
Note: You can use shrimps only and ladle into bowl with sauce.
