1.2 kg boneless chicken (preferably thighs)
2 tbsp oil
8 tbsp cornflour
1 cm or ( ½ inch) ginger, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 green chilli, seeded and finely chopped
3 dried red chillies
3 tbsp chilli sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp white sesame to garnish
Green and red peppers, optional
1. Place chicken in a bowl with all the ingredients, including the sauces and oil.
2. Mix well and leave it to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
3. Heat oil in a wok and deep-fry for 5-6 minutes, until the chicken turns golden in colour.
Garnish with sesame seeds, serve immediately and enjoy!
