Two men arrested for illegal transfer of money in Mecca

The suspects transferred SR1.4 million to unknown entities

Dubai: Makkah Police have arrested two Arab men for transferring money to unknown parties in irregular ways, according to Makkah newspaper

The suspects carried out money transfers of more than SR1.4 million illegally, Major Mohammed Al Ghamdi, spokesperson for Makkah Police, said.

The accused, who are in their 50s, have been referred to the public prosecution for legal action. They are now in custody pending trial, Major Al Ghamdi said.
