Coronavirus: 110 new cases, 2 deaths in Saudi Arabia
Dubai: Saudi Arabia today registered 110 new cases of coronavirus, pushing the total to 1,563, Al Arabiya reported.
Two more deaths from the novel coronavirus have also been confirmed, both expats, taking to 10 the total number of virus-related deaths in the kingdom.
Most of the cases reported in the kingdom are in stable health condition, the ministry said, calling on members of the public not to overuse sterilising liquids.
Earlier yesterday, Saudi Arabia announced free treatment for all COVID-19 patients in both government and private health facilities in the kingdom.
Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah announced the royal order and said it included citizens, residents and those in violation of residency laws.
Al Rabiah said the royal order stems out of the king’s keenness to put the health of citizens and residents first and to ensure the safety of all.
