Qatar announces 4 deaths, 557 new coronavirus cases

Dubai: Qatar’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus infection have risen to 101,972, with the detection of 557 new cases on Thursday.
According to the latest coronavirus update, the Ministry of Public Health announced that four more people have died from the contagion, taking the country’s death toll to 142.
In addition, 1,165 COVID-19 patients have made full recovery, bringing the total number of confirmed recoveries to 97,272, while there are 4,700 active cases, including 700 critical and 145 seriously ill patients under intensive treatment.
The ministry has so far examined 400,767 people since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic after conducting 4,568 additional tests over the past 24 hours.
