Oman: Two children drown in North Al Batinah valley

Body of girl retrieved, while search continues for boy

Dubai: Two children, a boy and a girl, drowned in a valley in North Al Batinah Governorate on Sunday, Omani media reported

The Civil Defence rescue teams rushed to the scene after receiving a report of the two missing children.

The Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACDA) said, ”The rescue teams at the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in North Al Batinah Governorate dealt with a report of two missing children in Wadi Al Hawasnah in Wilayat Al Khaboura.

"The teams retrieved the body of the 12-year-old girl, who was found dead, while the search for the boy still continues.”
