Oman: Police made 136 arrests in September for theft

127 crimes had been committed in various governorates of the Sultanate

Dubai: More than 100 people were arrested in September for different charges of theft in various governorates of the Sultanate, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced.

A statement issued by the ROP said: “Last September, the Royal Oman Police arrested 136 defendants who had committed 127 theft crimes in various governorates of the Sultanate.”

“The Royal Oman Police commends the cooperation of citizens and residents in uncovering these crimes, stressing at the same time the need to take the necessary precautions to secure their property,” the statement added.
