COVID-19: Oman condemns fake news about ‘new strain’ in Sultanate

Muscat: An official from Oman’s Ministry of Health condemned “news” circulating on social media about the first case of new strain of coronavirus found in Dhofar Governorate.
He said it was fake news and requested people not to pay it any heed.
