Cairo: Kuwait has recorded 699 new cases of the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours, a drop of two cases against the tally confirmed the previous day, taking the country’s overall infections to 75,185, the Health Ministry said Friday.
The ministry reported five new deaths from COVID-19, bringing Kuwait’s total such fatalities to 494.

Kuwait’s total virus tests have reached 552,581 so far after 4,576 tests have been done over the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that 641 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, raising to 66,740 the total number of recoveries from the disease in Kuwait.
Kuwait has recently set into motion a plan for gradual return to normal life.
