COVID-19: Bahrain reports 531 new cases
There are currently 51 cases in a critical condition, and 87 cases receiving treatment
Manama: Bahrain’s Ministry of Health reported 531 new cases of the COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking to 36,004 the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom.
The ministry has also announced the recovery of 577 COVID-19 patients after receiving treatment, pushing the total number of recoveries up to 31,765 .
The new cases include 297 expatriate workers, while 234 of them were contacts of active cases.
Meanwhile, the kingdom’s death toll increased to 124, after a 59-year-old male expatriate died of COVID-19.
The latest cases were detected after the ministry conduced 7,037 new tests on July 18, the ministry said.
There are currently 51 cases in a critical condition, and 87 cases receiving treatment. 4,064 cases are stable out of a total of 4,115 active cases.
