Dubai: Bahrain’s Ministry of Health announced today another 55 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of active cases to 349.

In a series of tweets, the ministry said that 41 cases of today’s tally were detected in a labor accommodation, adding that Bahrain has so far confirmed 458 recoveries from the virus.

The ministry made it clear that currently there are only four patients in the ICU while the rest 345 are in stable condition.

It also revealed that more than 50127 have been tested to detect whether they are infected or not and that 458 have left the quarantine after making sure they are free from the deadly disease.

Earlier last month, King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Thani, meanwhile, ordered the ministry of health to cover the treatment expenses coronavirus patients, including testing and quarantine services. The order applies to all citizens and residents.
