Dubai: A wax figure of former Prime Minister of Pakistan the late Benazir Bhutto will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds in Dubai on Sunday, July 30.

Benazir’s son and Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will participate in the unveiling ceremony along with other dignitaries and diplomats.

It’s the first wax figure of a Pakistani personality at the Madame Tussauds. Two time former Prime Minsiter, the late Benazir was chairperson of the Pakistan Peoples Party. She was assassinated during an election campaign on December 27, 2007 in Rawalpindi at the age of 54.

According to Pakistan Foreign Office, during his official visit to the UAE on July 30, Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal will also hold meeting with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of the UAE.

They will discuss entire spectrum of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. The Foreign Minister will also offer condolences to the UAE leadership on the passing of Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed, brother of His Highness President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.

Pakistan Foreign Office statement says that Foreign Minister’s visit reflects Pakistan’s robust engagement with the UAE and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two brotherly countries. Both countries are committed to steadily strengthening fraternal ties and deepening mutually rewarding economic partnership.
