Odd and unusual punishments don’t have to be painful, as the police in India’s city of Nagpur just proved.

When the authorities patrolling the streets found violators of a curfew imposed to curb the spread of the new coronavirus, COVID-19, they made them stand in a semi-circle.

Then, these rule-flouting men and women were made to do squats while holding their ears. A video of the exercise has made it online, with Twitter users praising the Maharashtra police’s quick actions.
