Kerala serial killing case: Jolly Joseph and 2 accused remanded to police custody for six days

Dubai: All the three accused in the Koodathayi serial murder case have been remanded to police custody. According to media reports Jolly Joseph, the main accused, was remanded to custody for six days.

According to Thamarassery First Class Judicial Magistrate's Order, the case will be considered on October 16. The bail pleas of the accused will also be considered on that day. As of now, the accused have not mentioned if they have any complaints against the police.

The others accused in the case are M S Mathew alias Shaji (44) and Praji Kumar (48). A press release shared locally in Koodathayi said: “The Crime Branch asked for 15 days' custody. Those who were taken into custody will be brought to the Vadakara Rural Superintendent of Police's office. From here the preliminary interrogation will be carried for evidence.

“After leaving court, Jolly and Praji Kumar were subjected to medical examination. The medical examination is under Thamarassery taluk hospital. Mathew, meanwhile, was produced before the court after his medical examination.”
