Trump wins battleground state of Nevada
Republican flips state that had previously backed Democrats in 2016 and 2020

Republican Donald Trump defeated Democrat Kamala Harris in Nevada, NBC and CNN projected, flipping a battleground that had previously backed Democrats in 2016 and 2020.
Nevada accounts for six of the 270 Electoral College votes required to win the White House.
The 78-year-old has already secured a clear majority in the Electoral College, which decides the president.
