Sharjah: Search and rescue teams are looking for an Emirati teenager presumed drowned in Kalba on Sunday.
The 17-year-old was swimming with friends.
Sharjah Police and the Coastguard were notified about the incident and the search is ongoing, with the help of a helicopter from the search and rescue team.
The Eastern Region Police urged the public to swim with caution and comply with safety instructions.
Police also asked parents to be wary of children swimming on their own.
