UAE and Texas ink MoU on driving licence recognition and exchange

Dubai: The UAE Ministry of Interior has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Public Safety in the US State of Texas, enabling mutual recognition and exchange of driving licences issued by both entities.

Under the agreement, driving licence holders from the UAE and Texas can exchange their licences without undergoing knowledge or road tests. This initiative aims to streamline procedures and ensure ease of movement for residents and visitors from both sides.
