Malaysia
The first day of the holy month of Ramadan will be Friday 24 April in Malaysia, officials have announced.
Egypt
April 24 will be the first day of Ramadan in Egypt, according to a statement issued on Wednesday by the Dar Al Ifta.
Singapore
Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has announced that Ramadan 2020 will begin on Friday 24 April, in the country.
Indonesia
Ramadan will begin on April 24, Friday in Indonesia. The moon has been sighted in Palabuhanratu, West Java province, according to the Indonesian Ministry of Religion.
Philippines
Ramadan in Philippines will begin on Friday, April 24, Abuhuraira Udasan, the grand mufti of the Bangsamoro, has announced. However, there is no report of the moon sighting so far.
