Measure aims to curb the spread of coronavirus

Dubai: Umm Al Quwain's Executive Council decided to completely close the public beaches in the emirate starting June 12 as a measure against the spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.
These restrictions are to remain in place until further notice.
These measures exclude hotel and resort beaches.
The decision aims to curb the spread of COVID-19, which is greatly affected by public gatherings.
