Coronavirus: Abu Dhabi lifts truck ban during peak hours

Decision is effective for extendable five days from April 1-5

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Police announced on Tuesday that heavy-duty trucks and lorries, which are usually banned on Abu Dhabi roads during peak hours, will now be allowed to use the emirate’s roads at anytime.

The decision to lift the ban on truck movement in the Emirate will be effective for an extendable period of five days starting Wednesday, April 1 ending on Sunday April 5.

Peak hours start from 6:30am until 9:00am and from 3:00pm until 6:00pm.
