Fire at construction site in Dubai’s Business Bay brought under control
No injuries in minor blaze in building’s debris, cooling operations underway
Dubai: A fire broke out in the debris of an under-construction building in Dubai’s Business Bay district on Tuesday morning, Dubai Civil Defence said.
The Civil Defence Operations Room received a report at 10:02am about the blaze. Accordingly, Za’abeel Fire Station, as the first responder, and Al Quoz Fire Station for backup were notified.
Upon the team’s arrival at 10:06am, it was found that the fire was in a building under construction, specifically in the building’s debris.
The incident was minor, and there were no injuries.
At 10:11am, a signal was received from the field commander indicating that the incident was over.
The site will be handed over to the concerned authorities after the cooling operations are completed.
