Expatriate pens Zayed biography in Malayalam

The book will be launched in November at a grand function in Abu Dhabi.

Dubai: The first comprehensive biography of the founding father of the UAE Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan in the Indian language of Malayalam is getting ready for its launch.

The book “Shaikh Zayed – The Leader of Virtue” is a literary tribute on the occasion of the 100th birth year celebrations of the visionary leader, in the prominent Indian language, Malayalam, said a press release

The book will be launched in November at a grand function in Abu Dhabi.

This unique biography has been penned by Ammar Kizhuparamba, an Indian media figure in the UAE. He has authored many biographies and travelogues specialising in the Indian expat life in the Gulf region.

Published by Page India Publishers, the book comprehensively covers the life, governance and the nation-building efforts of Shaikh Zayed. The past and present of the seven emirates and Shaikh Zayed’s impact in developing each of them also has been covered.

Besides using his extensive experience in the UAE, the author spent many months on research to develop the content of the boo, managingto collect rare pictures to illustrate the life and achievements of Shaikh Zayed.

According to the author, the book has been planned to serve as a reference in a simple language for current and future generations to understand the life of the great leader.

“The country and its leaders wholeheartedly welcomed and provided shelter to millions of Indians. The major beneficiary of this benevolence was naturally the prominent Indian community — Malayalis. The Indian community in the UAE, especially Malayalis, is deeply indebted to Shaikh Zayed and the nation he built.”
