Dubai: Dubai's vibrant dining scene is about to get upgraded. Autumn brings a wave of exciting new restaurants in Dubai, each offering a unique experience. Buckle up food adventurers, because we're about to embark on a culinary journey, with flavours from across continents.

1. Sur.Dubai

Dubai’s newest upscale seafood restaurant is set to make its mark on the region’s diverse dining scene this November. Located in Uptown DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre), it is inspired by Turkey’s Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, and blends coastal seafood with herbs and spices, offering a contemporary twist.

Sur.Dubai draws its inspiration from the renowned SurBalık, an iconic seafood restaurant that has been a cornerstone of Istanbul’s culinary scene for 20 years.

From grilled fish and seafood mezze to succulent seabass and tender octopus, seafood lovers have a variety of dishes to explore from.

For non-seafood eaters, Sur.Dubai also offers grilled lamb chops, flavorful chicken, and an exquisite selection of diverse, mouthwatering meats.

The restaurant will offer a chic and elegant atmosphere with an upscale dining experience perfect for a casual gathering or a special celebration.

The venue will host live music performances and themed dining events, elevating each evening with a touch of entertainment and excitement.

The restaurant will host its grand opening this November.

2. African Queen

African Queen, the iconic restaurant, is making its way from the French Riviera to Dubai. The restaurant with over 55 years of history will open a branch at the J1 Beach in Jumeirah.

The restaurant that first opened in 1969 in the South of France, fuses together African, French, and Mediterranean flavours. The original restaurant often attracts A-list stars including Naomi Campbell and Sylvester Stallone.

The Dubai restaurant draws its inspiration from the 1951 Academy Award-winning film of the same name. Adapted from the book titled African Queen, it stars Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn.

Opening for the first time outside of Europe, African Queen will offer fine dining in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. It will be headed by Chef Thierry Paludetto.

3. Two Birds One Stone

Dubai's dining and entertainment scene is all set to welcome a new culinary hotspot to its skyline. Two Birds One Stone, an upscale casual neighbourhood destination, located on the rooftop of the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai, will introduce a blend of relaxed sophistication and culinary artistry, inspired by Australia's social dining culture.

By day, the venue is designed as a serene retreat, and by night, will transform into a vibrant social hub. At the heart of the venue will lie its restaurant, where diners can enjoy a modern Australian menu that captures the essence of Sydney’s cosmopolitan dining scene. Using locally sourced ingredients, the dishes will celebrate both clean and simple flavours. Whether it be for breakfast, poolside dining, or even just bites at the bar, Two Birds One Stone has curated a menu for very occasion.

4. Lúnico

Lúnico is all set to bring Spanish fine dining and a late-night bar adventure to J1 Beach, Dubai’s all-new luxurious beachfront dining destination.

Curated to present an immersive dining journey with mystique and intrigue, Lúnico – derived from the Spanish words ‘luna’ and ‘único’ – embodies elements of the moon and uniqueness at its core.

The restaurant weaves a narrative inspired by water, fire, earth, and air, across its food, beverage, and interior design.

To make every visit an unparalleled experience, Lúnico guides guests through a dynamic, ever-changing repertoire that evolves from day to a late-night bar adventure to ensure every visit is unforgettable.

With offerings for lunch and dinner, Lúnico’s skilled culinary team will serve fine dining Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine.

Diners’ appetites will be tempted with a variety of options including Ceviche Gallego, Galician Octopus, Green Apple Oyster, Vieiras with Caviar, Purple Potato Mille-Feuille, and more. With many menu items inspired by the moon, Lúnico’s dishes will showcase biodynamic products that harvest optimally during the moon’s cycle.
