1. Mr Miyagi's Bar, Dubai Media City and Dubai Studio City
This popular karaoke spot has two branches, one in Media One Hotel in Dubai Media City, and the other in Studio One Hotel in Dubai Studio City.
Mr Miyagi’s is well known for its Asian lounge ambiance with Thai street food, brightly-coloured furniture, and Japanese-style cherry blossoms for decor. It doesn’t have any private karaoke rooms, but you can sing from your table – the lyrics for the song you select will be provided to you on a tablet. Both guests and staff take turns to sing. The bar also hosts karaoke-themed quizzes and brunches.
2. Lucky Voice, Barsha Heights, Dubai
Located at Grand Millennium Hotel, Lucky Voice is known for its unique karaoke experience. The nightspot offers 11 private and soundproof karaoke booths ideal for groups of six to 25 people. They also have a stage that might just put you in the spotlight.
Inside the private karaoke booths are screens, which you can use to select from over 10,000 songs in various languages including English, Arabic, Russian, Bollywood, Spanish, Italian and French. The booths also have a fridge stocked with a selection of beverages.
Lucky Voice started out as a small karaoke joint in 2005 in London’s Soho. The restaurant’s menu features an international selection from sliders to tacos and burgers to salads.
3. Kung Korean, Barsha Heights, Dubai
Behind the traditional dining area of Kung Korean Restaurant are private karaoke rooms with sofas, screens and disco lighting.
Enjoy the restaurant’s authentic Korean food menu between songs. There’s no public karaoke area, so booking is a must, but there’s plenty of space for a medium-sized groups, and an extensive song library to choose from.
