Baghdad: Two British Puma helicopters have crashed north of Baghdad, killing two British service personnel and injuring five others.
The military has launched an investigation into the cause of the crash near a large US air base in Taji.
"Initial reports indicate it appears to be from mid-air collision and not the result of enemy fire," the military said.
"Sadly, two personnel have died and one is very seriously injured," British Defence Secretary Des Browne said.
