Baghdad: An attack against a revered Shi'ite shrine in Samarra is a serious blow for Iraq, a senior Iraqi government source said on Wednesday in reaction to news that two minarets at the Golden Mosque had been damaged.
"This is very bad news for Iraq," said the official, who declined to be identified.
