Palestinian woman dies during Israeli raid

Occupied Jerusalem: A Palestinian woman plunged to her death during an Israeli raid on her village in the Occupied West Bank on Sunday.

A witness said the woman, Maryam Ayyad, was trying to prevent troops from arresting someone from her house and was knocked down.

The Israeli military denied the incident, saying that the woman fell down the stairs.

Doctors said Ayyad died after hitting her head during the fall.
