Ardebil: Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Sunday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is to lift visa requirement for people living in neighbouring states.
The policy is to help broaden and deepen ties and communications between world nations, Mottaki said, according to the official Iranian news agency Irna.
Iran and Georgia are to lift visa requirements for their nationals in the near future and as for Azerbaijan, Iran has already lifted the visa requirement and now expects the same to happen in Azerbaijan, he added.
