Dubai: A drug dealer who killed a member of the Anti-Narcotics Department in Zarqa, Jordan, in 2017 received a death sentence by hanging, announced the State Security Court (SSC).

The decision was announced last week during an open session headed by three military judges, in the presence of the State Security Prosecutor.

The SSC also sentenced 10 other defendants to short-term hard labour between 10 to 15 years. Meanwhile, three others were proven innocent.
