Hamas fighter killed in Gaza raid

Gaza: A Hamas fighter was killed during an Israeli raid on the northern Gaza Strip on Monday, hospital officials said.

An Israeli spokeswoman confirmed that an operation had taken place near Beit Hanoun and said that Israeli forces shot two men who tried to attack them.

More than 30 Palestinians were also detained for interrogation, the spokeswoman said.
