Cairo: Egypt will hold a presidential election "within a month or two" of a parliamentary poll promised for September, the transitional military government said on Wednesday.
General MamdOuh Shahin made the announcement as he unveiled an amended constitution incorporating changes endorsed in a referendum earlier this month which marked the first popular vote since the ouster of president Hosni Mubarak in February.
