Egypt foreign minister arrives in Baghdad on surprise visit

Baghdad: Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit arrived in Baghdad on Sunday in a surprise visit, state-run television reported.

Egypt's energy minister also arrived in Baghdad, Iraqiya television said.

The trip is the latest sign that fellow Arab nations are restoring ties with Iraq after over five years of war.
