Ankara: Police say a bomb blast near the office of Turkey's prime minister has wounded one person.
The explosion comes after a bomb blast wounded 15 policemen and one civilian near the ruling party offices in Istanbul on Thursday. No one has claimed that attack.
The blast on Monday came ahead of a Cabinet meeting at the prime minister's office. Turkey's state-run television says a government employee was injured in the explosion.
Bomb experts, wearing protective gear, are searching the area to make sure that no other bomb has been placed.
Kurdish rebels, fighting for autonomy in the southeast, as well as radical leftist and Islamic militants are active in Turkey.
