A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey early on Tuesday morning, the National Centre of Meteorology said.

The tremor was recorded at a depth of 75.1km in the south-west of Turkey at 03.17am UAE time, according to the NCM’s National Seismic Network.
