Dubai: A remarkably tall pilgrim, nearly 2.5 meters in height, captured the attention of other pilgrims at the Grand Mosque, with videos of him walking among the worshippers going viral.

While the man's identity remains undisclosed, speculation is that he is of African descent and could be among the tallest individuals globally, according to local media.

As he performed the Tawaf, the ritual circumambulation of the Kaaba, his height set him apart from the surrounding pilgrims.

The interest he generated among the worshippers was evident from the numerous videos of him performing religious rituals at the mosque that flooded social media.
