Dubai: More than 450 establishments have been closed in Riyadh for breaking coronavirus precautionary measures.

Riyadh Municipality carried out inspections to enforce the compliance of establishments with preventive protocols and precautionary measures in place to stem the spread of coronavirus in the Kingdom.

The inspections carried out as part of the municipality’s intensified efforts to enforce compliance of coronavirus safety rules. The municipal inspectors have been working since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic to verify the full compliance of businesses with the instructions issued by the authorities.

The inspections have resulted in closing down 459 establishments found to have violated the measures. The owners of the offending establishments have been referred to competent authorities to take legal action against them.
