Qatar reports 231 new coronavirus cases

Dubai: Qatar announced that a further 231 people have tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total number of people infected with COVID-19 to 120,374.

No deaths have been reported during the past 24 hours, keeping the country’s death tally at 205, the Ministry of Public Health said in its latest coronavirus update.

The ministry also announced the recovery of 256 infected patients, pushing the country’s overall recovered cases to 117,497. Active cases are now 2,877, including 408 critical and 49 serious who are under intensive care.

The ministry conducted 4,288 PCR tests during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of people tested across the country to 667,939.
