Dubai: Qatar today reported 230 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 123,166.

Coronavirus claimed one more life in the country, with the victim dying due to complications, in the past 24 hours, taking the country’s death tally to 210, the Ministry of Public Health said during its latest coronavirus update on Sunday.

The ministry also announced that 214 infected patients have fully recovered, pushing the country’s overall recovered cases to 120,303. Active cases are now 2,863, including 427 critical and 60 serious who are still under intensive care.

An additional 5,020 PCR tests were conducted during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of people tested across the country to 724,077.
