Qatar announces long Eid Al Fitr holidays

Manama: Qatar's Eid Al Fitr holidays for ministries, government departments, authorities and public institutions will start on August 28 and will end on September 5, the Emiri Court has announced.

However, Eid holidays for the Qatar Central Bank (QCB), banks and other financial institutions under the control of the QCB will be for three days and will be determined by the QCB governor, the court said, Qatari media reported.
