COVID-19: Qatar reports 616 new cases, 5 deaths

Dubai: Qatar has reported 616 new cases of COVID-19, raising confirmed cases in the country to 99,799, according to the Ministry of Public Health.

Five new deaths were also confirmed, raising the death toll to 128 in the country.

Additionally, 1,897 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovered in Qatar to 92,284.

During the past 24 hours, 8 people have been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), pushing the total number of people currently in intensive care units to 175. Currently, the active cases stand at 7,387.

The ministry also revealed that it has conducted 4,553 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 381,434.
