Dubai: Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today recorded 217 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), raising the total number of confirmed infections to 121,740.
Meanwhile, 207 COVID-19 patients have made full recovery in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 118,682, leaving 2853 active cases under treatment.

All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.
No new deaths were recorded in the past 24 hours, leaving the country’s death toll at 205.
The latest cases were detected after the ministry conducted 5,192 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 691,031 tests. There are 37 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours taking the total patients in the hospital to 408.
Four patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 50.
