Muscat: Oman has cancelled two Omani riyals' toll levied for crossing the borders, according to a report by Oman News Agency.
The order, issued by Sayyid Fahd Bin Mahmoud Al Saeed, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, is effective from Saturday.
One of the demands put forward by the protesters in Sohar was cancellation of these charges.
