20 Asians arrested for violating labour law

Muscat: Twenty expatriates from different Asian nationalities have been arrested in a raid carried out by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation Department in Al Khuwair area of Muscat, according to a Royal Oman Police (ROP) press release on Wednesday.

All the 20 accused have been charged of violating country's labour and residency laws. The accused have been referred to the Manpower Ministry for legal action.
