Dubai: Four people have been detained in two separate cases for promoting illegal narcotic substances at an estimated value of about BD42,000, Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior announced yesterday.
According to the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science director-general, the individuals arrested by anti-drug police were between the ages of 26 and 33, and they included three men and a woman.

Once busted, narcotic substances were seized along with sums of money in their possession.
The director-general indicated that legal measures have been taken and the two cases have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
