London: A former actor on the TV soap Brookside appeared in court on Wednesday, charged with murdering a man who was shot dead outside a Liverpool pub.
Brian Regan, 53, who played family-man Terry Sullivan on the now defunct show, is accused with two other men over the killing of Bahman Faraji, 44, on February 24.
Regan is also charged with perverting the course of justice.
Co-accused
The Brookside character appeared at Liverpool Magistrates' Court with his co-accused Lee Dodson, 42.
Both men spoke only to confirm their names and addresses in court.
They were remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on April 18, the Press Association reported.
The third accused man, Edward Heffey, 40, was charged with murder earlier this month.
Hewill also appear in court on the same day.
