London: A mother mistaken for a terror suspect was held at gunpoint by police as she returned to get her daughter's toys from a plane at Gatwick.
Emma Goldman, 45, was surrounded by armed officers after she went back to the aircraft she had left minutes before with eight-year-old daughter Harriet. The single mother accidentally broke three emergency glass door seals and tripped security alarms.
Goldman, an English teacher and head of the Parent Teachers' Association at the Royal School Hampstead, ended up in court. She said: "I really have been left shell-shocked and very scared."
She was given a conditional discharge by magistrates at Crawley.
