500,000 euro heist from Dior in Cannes - police

 Nice, France: Burglars made off with half a million euros worth of luxury goods and clothes from the seafront Christian Dior boutique in the French Riviera resort of Cannes, police said Saturday.

They said the two masked robbers took only eight minutes to clear off with their haul in a pre-dawn raid Friday, fleeing moments before the police arrived, according to the local daily Nice-Matin.
